We rented a property through Romans which was managed by the landlord, after a few months in the property, which was a new build, we had a problem with the property which we needed to speak to the landlord about, we couldn't get hold of them via the contact details given to us, so we contacted Lynn at Romans who told us they can't give us the contact details for the landlord due to data privacy laws, never even offered to get into contact with the landlord to pass on a message, unbelievable. So we as tenants had to chase around various avenues to eventually get into contact with the landlord.

The long and the short of it is, once Romans have your money, they couldn't care less about any issues you have.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Be more approachable to tenants who require landlord contact details if the landlord cant be contacted on the details supplied to the tenant by the agent. Also ludicrous fees.
