I would never use Ludlow Thompson ever again. They have been utterly useless, and as a result of their poor service, my partner and I have lived with a broken window for over a year, without heating for three months and then finally evicted because the property was repossessed (unbeknown to Ludlow Thompson).
Amongst other lesser serious things (repairs that should have been done before we moved in but weren't done until months after we moved in, a promised parking space which never actually existed), there are many issues where I feel the service we have received has been appallingly bad.
About six months ago, we received a letter to say that the mortgage has not been paid and the flat is being repossessed. We immediately contacted LT, who had no idea such action was being taken. Then agreed to help us move to another property, should the eviction take place. Since that phonecall, over six months ago, LT did nothing else to help us. They just told us they didn't know anything and couldn't do anymore. When the court date came (16 Dec), we thought LT might be on the ball and chasing up the issue, but they failed to bother. As a result, we had a terrible Christmas not knowing whether the place had been repossessed, whether we had to move or whether LT would rehome us.
We ended up calling the courts ourselves and were told the repossession order had gone through and we were to be evicted on 26 January. A week later, LT finally got in touch with us telling us we had to move out by 26 January. There were no apologies and certainly no offers to help us find a new property.
In the meantime, we went out and found a new property to move into. And low and behold, LT were the agents! We informed them of our decision to move into another one of their properties and were told we still had to pay over
