I rented a property form valluga in August 2013 for 6 months. This was my first flat since leaving my parents home. All seemed fine with the company and staff before we moved in. They were polite and approachable that was until we exchanged money and contracts. From day one, during and even after we had moved out we had nothing but rudeness, unprofessional conduct and basically neglected of our basic needs and there requirements as a landlord. We made a list on our first day of all the broken furniture and fixtures and fitting. This list was endless and the general state of the flat was poor and dirty. We gave the list to Liam who did as we thought absoulltly nothing with it. Not one job was repaired or broken furniture replaced. All they were interested in was the rent and deposit we were paying. During our unpleasant stay the shower broke and we were without water for 5 days until they decided to fix it. I had to go to my parents to shower. This is a basic human right to be allowed to be cleansed with hot water. This was taken away from us as they failed to repair the shower for 5 days. By law the tenant has a right to water, shower or bath and a safe , good state of repairs. Which bit of by law doesn't Liam and his unprofessional team understand. On every occasion when I reported a fault or questioned something about the flat i was met with an abrut, rude, unprofessional agressive attitude. Was this because I'm young, female ? Or is this just there lack of respect for another person. So my only advice i can give you is please do NOT rent from this company. You will only be disappointed and have a constant battle with the management who lack managing skills. If unfortunately you have rented of this company then my deepest sympathy to you for having to deal with such an unpleasant letting agent.
