We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the service you have received.
Contractors have visited on numerous occasions to investigate the problems reported and have advised that the build up of mould is indicative of excess condensation. This arises due to a lack of adequate heating and ventilation throughout the property, causing any excess moisture to condense on external walls.
An area of the guttering was found to be damaged and contributing to the problem, although not the main cause. The guttering has since been repaired so there is no longer an issue here.
Due to the nature of their role, contractors may be called to emergency jobs when they have been scheduled to visit your property, but they have visited on various occasions, and it is our understanding that they have spoken with you at the property about these issues.
We can assure you that we do take the matter seriously, and are in discussions with Environmental Health to arrange a visit to the property to determine if anything further can be done to help alleviate the problems experienced.
With reference to the light bulbs, as tenants it is your responsibility to replace these during the tenancy as and when they blow as a matter of course.
We will be in touch in due course regarding our visit with the council.
Regards,
WR
