We were seeking a new management agent after growing disillusioned with our incumbent provider, a large property management agent in the SE, and contracted Unicorn to tender for the business along with the incumbent and one other property manager.

We meet with Mr Wiltshire within days of the request for tender and were immediately impressed. And, once the tender arrived it was clear that our incumbent was not working for us as well as they could have been. In fact, the third tenderer were actually cheaper than both Unicorn and the incumbent,

However, we chose to go with Unicorn because we felt that they offered a more personal hands-on approach. This was evidenced by immediate improvement work to the property carried out even before any funds had been collected or the hand-over from the incumbent had been complete.

After a couple of months we also received a revised tender quote from Unicorn with a further reduction in overall budget. We saved 20% on our yearly budget and still managed to maintain the property and add to our major works contingency fund.

We head in to 2014 with an internal and external works project lined up in a very healthy budgetary position and with a property manager we feel we can trust to work on ours and our property owners behalf.
