KFH (Streatham) started badly by processing our contract with them for a Lettings service as a Management one, which means a higher percentage for them. Once we told them we hadn't signed up for that and that we had made copies of the contract they agreed. We have had no trouble with them as long as we did not have to contact them. However recently, after a year, they took their fee which we did not understand (and had to work out ourselves) included VAT. We also contacted them to ask if we had to pay the extra as the month's rent did not cover it. They did not get back to us. Now, a month later, we have not received a month's rent. They tell us that it is being processed by the bank. Once when i called up they mistook me for a tenant and told them they had to pay by card. The credit department says that KFH are holding up the payment as a new contract for a change of tenant is waiting to be signed. I am not happy with the new contract as it states £0.00 is to be paid by the tenants in Dec 2013 and leaves a grey area about December's rent. So KFH (Streatham), when you don't need to contact them don't present any challenges. But as soon as you need to deal with them, they leave alot to be desired by their customer service.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Answer when contacted and know what is actually happening with a certain case or issue rather than different departments saying different conflicting things.

Comment on agent fees
Very expensive compared to other estate agents in terms of contract fees, admin fees and exit clause trigger fees and tried to charge me around £50 for simply providing a reference to a future letting agents.
