I was really disappointed with the level of service and professionalism displayed by Kelly Homes. Tom Kelly owner of the business is very brash, opinionated and downright rude, this filters down as being a completely acceptable way to deal with clients by his staff making our whole experience far more stressful than it needed to be. Customer service is zero, from the very beginning at first viewing we were treated with disdain (just because I refused to give out my email) I was addressed as "oh you, the one who wouldn't give her email", whilst the other viewer was warmly welcomed as Sue. Whilst my partner was told by Tom Kelly that he should be slapped round the head like a child - nice!(I pity Tom Kelly's children). Considering I work in the property industry I found it incredulous that this company is still in business if that is how he treats his clients. If we were not so far into the purchase of this property I would withdraw. I would not recommend the services of this man or his company in any way shape or form.

We always welcome feedback, good or bad as it allows us to strengthen our business and meet our customers’ needs. Having successfully operated in this area with over 2000 transactions in the last 13 years we haven’t always got it right but have maintained a customer feedback rating of over 90%.

All clients and potential future clients are welcome to call into our Wythall office at Drakes Cross Parade to view all our customer feedback questionnaires which are available for inspection at anytime these include both good and bad reviews, as we operate a professional, open and transparent approach to our business.

As this reviewer currently works within the industry for a competing property agent in Solihull, she used her property knowledge and experience to intimidate our elderly vendors to aggressively reduce their property price at the 12th hour, by approaching them direct, dropping a letter through their door which contained veiled threats. We always represent all our clients both professionally and fairly and believe because of this reviewer’s wealth of property experience that they were bullying the vendor into an unnecessary price reduction.

The vendor was advised by us to maintain their property price or re-market their home because the market was rising and the reviewer knew this. As professional agents we skilfully manoeuvred this process to completion. All our clients get the opportunity to complete our customer service questionnaires and return them to our office; this reviewer did not take this opportunity to place their feedback on the buying process which we would have welcomed. However our vendor did return their customer service questionnaire, rating our service in all areas as well over 90% and applauded our professionalism, skilfulness and persistence in selling their home.

From the circumstances that have been outlined in the reply to the reviewer we hope this will allow any future Kelly Homes client to draw their own conclusions of this reviewer’s personal and business ethics.

Comment on agent fees
Compared to other two agents Kelly Home fee was percentage based while the other agents were cheaper but set fee. I preferred Kelly Home fee because our house sale price would matter to them while other agents in the area had set fee is didn't matter to them how much our house was worth.

We chose Kelly's although the fees were not the cheapest quoted - of three agents they were in the middle. Our choice was also because of location.

Here at Kelly Homes we take our business very seriously and we always welcome feedback good or bad so that we may learn from it and strengthen ourselves further - however this reviewer is a mystery to us as we received no feedback of this nature around this time or a complaint which we would always have been happy to deal with directly and face to face - indeed it seems somewhat personal, confusing and emotional rather than factual.
