Utterly inept and unprofessional. I currently have the misfortune of dealing with this company and without doubt they are the most useless and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
In particular Joanne Millward - the so-called 'manager' has been incredibly bad. I was actually taken aback at how rude she is. In my line of work I deal with consultant surgeons, Cheif Exec's, COO's, directors, managers etc. and some of these people are incredibly difficult to deal with, however I accept difficulty as I'm a provider to them. What I do not accept is complete difficulty when I'm a customer. Her phone manner is laughable, she's either incredibly unhappy in her job or frankly just useless. The fact she is the 'manager' says it all.
She spoke to my girlfriend appallingly, accused her of lying and said that we shouldn't have contacted them as often as we have. No one at Griffiths and Charles seems to know what they are doing nearly all of my questions have been met with 'ermm I'm not sure'. It has been infuriating dealing with them! They have given my girlfriend and I zero guidance on the process we must go through when renting, I have had to contact them continually to see where we are in the process considering we are paying them hundreds of pounds this is just not on.
Ineptness is one thing which they are, particularly Joanne, however being rude and arrogant is just downright unacceptable. If Joanne worked for me she would be receiving a final warning at least.
I can't quite put into words how irritated I am but make no mistake this company is useless and unprofessional. I will be reporting the company and Joanne in particular to Trading Standards, their Trading Body and ASA. If I have to I will contact the local press I'm so annoyed at their treatment.

I wish I had read these reviews and comments like yours before we looked at this apartment. It seems strange that this apartment in the heart of Diglis Worcester has still not gone despite being advertised for nearly 60 days, I wonder who else they have bullied and abused to prevent tenancy. I have a number of recipients for my complaint letter as I'm still absolutely disgusted at Joanne Millward!! Jan 11, 2014
Unfortunately these stories sound too familiar, especially in regard to Joanne, whose soul purpose is to bully tenants. I would recommend everyone give this fraudulent company a very wide berth! Jan 09, 2014
Unfortunately I had the misfortune of dealing with Charles Robinson today too, the Director of the firm. Just as bad as the rest of them I'm afraid. My girlfriend and I essentially had all references satisfactorily accepted and credit checks returned good. Less than a week ago we were told all we need to do now is pay the deposit and fees and agree a move in date. Charles informed me he suggested to the landlord that she put the apartment back on the market because we are difficult to deal with. So because I complained that we were paying them £300 for their service and yet were failing to see what that service was, and because I complained about Joanne's abusive tone they have denied us the opportunity to rent an apartment.
Almost speechless, there's a number of bodies I will be sending my complaint too. I'm not a trouble maker - I wanted a joyful experience but I have NEVER dealt with such a rude and laughably bad company!!

Terrible. Staff who look after rented accomadation are rude and obnoxious, and very unhelpful It seems they go out of their way to cause problems. I will never deal with them again, and would recommend others avoid Grittiths and Charles at all costs....
