Don't trust this man to help you in any way as all he does is string you along. When we put in an offer he didn't like, he couldn't contact the vendor who was in a meeting for 24 hours! When we upped our offer, the vendor was suddenly very easy to contact. I agreed to send a reservation fee cheque within 24 hours of 21st December, however, he told me no need to hurry as they were closed until the second of January. Sent cheque on 30th December, only to receive an email from him saying the property was going back on the market as he had received no cheque. Then told me he had been popping into the office every day looking to see if my cheque had been delivered. Offered to pay by bank transfer, so call him up within an hour and suddenly it's sold with his quote "I've almost got the money in my hands". Obviously been sold to someone who offered more after my offer was accepted. Bloke is a snake and is economical with the truth and should not be trusted. If he's anything to go by, 80's style estate agents are on the way back. Do yourself a favour and find a decent agent to buy from.
