At the beginning everything was fine, the young lady dealing with the sale done a great job and I had an offer for the asking price within a couple of weeks, I was over the moon, then someone else took over and it started to go down hill. I was not kept updated at all, I had to ring them and they said on a few occasions that I would be called back that day but they never did. I was given wrong information about the buyer and he's mortgage. We have been told twice that we would be exchanging contracts and it never happened, on one occasion my wife was told we would exchange contracts on Monday 23rd December 2013. It did not happen and no one bothered to phone us and let us know. I phoned and left a message but no one bothered to call back. We have now spent Christmas with most of our belongings boxed up. Its been nearly 6 months since the offer was accepted and we still have not exchanged contracts. ALL WE WANTED WAS TO BE KEPT INFORMED
