This letting agency has let us down from the moment we signed our tenancy agreement - and have continued to try and squeeze money out of myself and my housemates for literally doing nothing.

Part of the terms when moving in to the property was for the flat to be professionally cleaned, for the landlord to provide a dining table and 4 chairs and to have the 2 sofas properly cleaned or re-covered as they were filthy. On the day i moved in, the flat was a pig sty, inches thick with dust, dirt, grime - it took myself and my boyfriend 3 hours to thoroughly clean the flat before we could even move any of our belongings in.

No agent came with us to take an inventory when we moved in either - so we couldn't speak to them/show them how just what a disgusting state the flat was in and nothing from the agreed terms was carried out prior to us moving in.

We are finally moving out (have been in the contract for 18 months) - and have recently received a letter stating asking whether we are planning on staying - seriously does anyone at your agency speak to one another or have the faintest what is going on? Apparently if we wanted to stay on it would cost us
