Really poor service. Felt really enthused when I signed the agreement, but from the start the service was awful. My tenant wasn't able to set up a standing order with them as they then kept getting the amount wrong. I didn't receive any statements. The amount paid to me varied every month, as did the time of month I was paid. When they quoted to have the door trimmed they wanted to charge me £120, I got a local handy man to do the job for £30.
They regularly ignored my emails, virtually all communication had to be chased. When I did get to talk to someone they promised things that never materialised.
They wanted to charge both myself and the tenant to extend the agreement. To make it all worse when I'd had enough of paying for a really poor service they charged me £600+VAT to end the agreement. Overall Bridgefords put me off letting the property. From the moment I signed the agreement their service was not acceptable.
