I was recommended your-move by a friend for rental of my house. They charged me a marketing fee and then the usual 10% which adds upto £900 a year.

After 8 months they wrote to me saying the tenancy had ended and do I want to renew. I suggested that just keep it rolling and they said that s not a good idea, so I said ok go ahead and renew. Unbeknown to me that incurred an additional cost of £125! On complaining they said it was a fee that was written in to the contract and yes it is there but their staff at the dinnington branch advised me not to take a years lease at first as best to see how the new tenant goes.

But this is a lie all your-move want is extra money, they even hounded me with upsell for the gas certificate among 50 other things like insurance etc. I got my plumber to do this for £50 opposed to something like £150 for their service. I declined this and they had the cheek to ring my plumber after he had provided the necessary certificate and say he was not registered with the relevant board to do so. He told them he definitely was and please don't ring me again.

The tenant they found also does not like them and is happy to go direct to me because I can also print off a tenancy agreement for 2 pence and put the deposit in the protection scheme myself.

Steer clear and use rentify instead of these cowboys!!
What agent could do to change your mind?
worked for their money and not charge additional fees to renew a 6 month lease.
