I signed with Ryder & Dutton after a particularly appalling experience with another agency. The manager took me through a further appraisal and discussed the price I wanted to sell at and all questions I had in detail. They took pictures and allowed me to view and approve them before they went up on the website, they have a large online presence and this was utilised to full advantage. It took a while to sell my property, mainly due to the market, but at no point did I feel they had put me "on a back burner" to concentrate on newer properties. They kept in contact with me at all times and were always polite, pleasant, easy to deal with and sympathetic to the fact I was selling my mothers house following her passing and had a lot of probably daft questions, especially once I had offers to accept and onwards!

I viewed a few properties through other branches of R&D and found, almost without exception, every member of staff I dealt with to be the same in terms of professionalism, courtesy and knowledge.

All in all I would thoroughly recommend R&D, they may be slightly more expensive then some of the competition but in this case you get what you pay for.

Hello Jo-Anne I was very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our service, bearing in mind that we managed to get you a mortgage which suited all of your requirements. Unfortunately, when applying for a remortgage, we can only ever estimate the amount of money you will need to clear or "redeem" the existing mortgage, as the balance on your account changes every day. Therefore we can never provide exact costs until the Solicitor obtains your closing (redemption) balance. Nevertheles ...
