As a walk in customer Katy rapidly understood exactly the type of rental investment property I was looking for and instead of bombarding me with everything as some agents have, she was able to provide a comprehensive breakdown of the positives and negatives of each product she produced, this included possible rental values and also potential problems. Having conducted the initial viewing on the selected property, Katy was able to put me in touch with local painters and decorators, electricians and carpet fitters who were willing to visit and quote for the work required to bring the property to a lettable state. Although I booked the appointments she facilitated the visits and was able to provide constructive advise throughout ensuring that when I decided to proceed with an offer I had a comprehensive understanding of the additional works that would be involved.
Having had an offer accepted we then had a period where my initial lender (who ultimately chose not to make a mortgage offer) produced some of the most unusual questions relating to the local area and the property. Throughout Katy, now assisted by Caroline, worked tirelessly to put me in touch with the relevant local government departments and to find answers / reassure the potential lender. Despite multiple problems along the way Katy and Caroline were positive, encouraging and most importantly sympathetic when 'times were tough' and even when the sale looked potentially unachievable. Their due diligence and conviction in dealing with both the seller and the buyer both of whom were not the easiest marks them out for their justifiably excellent rating. Many thanks.
