On our second viewing of the property which we purchased we were shown around by, Jack Merriott. We found that he was uninterested and felt like he just wanted to the viewing over with. He was unhelpful, when we asked standard questions regarding the property he repeatedly said he did not know the answer. This was not a property new to their portfolio so you would expect the agent to be able answer.

Despite a disappointing and off putting second viewing we decided that it was the property for us. We had our offer accepted on a Saturday and by early Monday we were already being chased for confirmation of our solicitors. We were both first time buyers and will admit we did not the process however we were never advised and constantly felt like we were being talked down to. We do understand that do have a First Time Buyers Centre which we understand opened after we have purchased our property.

I would not recommend Cross Keys Estates Agents and would not view a property from there portfolio in the future.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have been interested in showing us the property. It felt as if the agent did not view us as potential purchasers.

Very sorry to hear of your bad experience with us, we do strive to give the best customer service each and every time but on this occasion we seem to have not come up to standard! Dont worry, though, we will ensure we dust ourselves off and work hard to do better next time
