Flat I have rented was advertised as fully furnished but all of the furnishings were broken when I moved in so had get maintenance guys round to dispose of... Got the sofa replaced but no other furnishings. Other flats in the same block advertised by Winkworth are far better and £5 more a week than that of my flat. The tenant before never argued for things to be done in the flat so now I\'m left with the business of trying to get things justified. Issues raised and still waiting to be resolved after 3 weeks of living at the flat. These are: faulty washing machine that leaks, broken cooker door, age old mouse traps, damp, hole in bathroom floor that allows leakage to downstairs tenant, broken table and dining chair. Maintenance just turn up when they want and even lied about being at the flat when I was in? Didn\'t even get an apology! I was told that all these issues would be resolved by yesterday (8th Nov) but again no repair work. Lettings manager rarely calls back to chat discuss issues despite repeated promises. I try to keep the property in fantastic condition regardless. Winworth seem to only value their buyers
What agent could do to change your mind?
using the 10 days of empty flat between the old tenant moving and me moving in to resolve issues before I moved in!
