When I previously viewed properties to buy, D&H scheduled several appts at the same time and the agent stood outside whilst the prospective buyers all walked round the house bumping into each other. I then rented through them; I had a problem with a bill that I paid and went through A Forman. He was not a pleasant man and did not return calls. I eventually reached an agreement that the owners would pay the bill.
I then left the property, before the bill was paid, and the owners refused to pay the bill as they disagreed with the way I had left the lawn. As the lawn was not substantially different to the way it was when I moved in I contacted D&H for their help and to complain about the way the A Forman had spoken to me, they sent me a letter back telling me I had actually rented directly from the owners and they were just an intermediary (they didn't say that at any time during the previous year when I had had problems with the property and contacted them for help). They said I could only contact the owners, they said that Mr Forman had said that he hadn't been rude and they finished the letter by saying that they would no longer be in contact with me. So I asked for their help and complained about their staff and they basically told me to go away and then ignored me (I did write back to them). The front office ladies were very nice and helpful, however - it's the people above them that are the problem
