I have just had the worst experience ever in trying to organise a new tenant starting with one KFH agent fibbing to prospective tenants that they knew me well in order to secure a deal (despite it being week one of a first instruction); followed by a time consuming back and forth with agents chasing for details, then for rent to be transferred, then for the deposit being sent as well as mysteriously missing emails and not handing keys over to another agent despite my asking. It was like dealing with people who had never done this before and always in a rush. I never felt for one moment that this team was interested in building a relationship, cared for either its tenants or its landlords beyond a level of basic civility. KFH also have a policy not to release rental incomes or deposits for up to 10 days after a tenant has moved in, which exposes the landlord financially (should they go bust in the interim). A half hearted apology by manager David Manning simply wasn\'t good enough. Still awaiting deposit.
