Please do not use this agency. He will take your holding deposit ,request your deposit and months rent and he has not even secured the property ,he then recused to give you the deposit back. I nearly ended up homeless because of him. He is totally dishonest and I am currently pursuing with the Property Ombudsmen and Small Claims court
What agent could do to change your mind?
When the agent took my deposit he said he had secured the property, after my daughter spoke with the Property MNagement Company 2 days later they advised the offer had not been agreed. When I requested my deposit back the agent became abusive and claimed I could not have it back . Certainly not an honest Agency and I will continue to make sure I pursue the return of my money via Legal channels and warn everyone I know to spread th word not to use this agent.

This prospective tenant's offer was accepted. According to our Tenants Terms of Offer Form, a tenant must provide references to us within 4 working days of the offer being accepted.
This is in order that we ensure the tenant is suitable to the property and has no adverse credit history. We work for our clients (Landlords) who expect us to follow these procedures strictly.
We also were told by the Landlord that the tenants had contacted them directly In order to avoid agents fees. This particular tenant had also offered on a property via another agent and subsequently took that one. Which is why they were reluctant to pay the balance of move in monies or provide references.
All in all a tenant may lose their deposit for one of only three reasons and this particular Tenant Tracy did all three.
Please respect the work and processes of letting agents as the holding deposit is used for a reason. To hold the property and bind you legally to your offer.
We do not expect to work for free and thankfully in this case the Landlord was honest with us.
Please Note:
Claytons do not take holding deposits until after the offer is accepted.
