We decided to go local and use Willey and Son (they are now known as Wilsons) to sell our property. We had a viewing almost immediately unfortunately this was a complete waste of time as the viewers told us they wanted in excess of one acre - ours is clearly only third of an acre and an older property - ours was built in 1985 and they didn\'t even have their property on the market. It took them 5 days before they came back to us with any feedback. In the next five months we only had one more viewing which again was a waste of time. Their customer service was terrible they rarely contacted us, it was down to us to keep in touch with them to find out what interest there was. After five months we decided enough was enough and then they had the nerve to try and charge us £250 for the privilege, despite Dan assuring us the fee only came into force if the property was removed from sale at the beginning. We believe that 5 months and only 2 views was giving them enough of a chance. If you are thinking of selling don\'t choose Wilsons!!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Improved customer service, regular weekly contact and needless to say aggressive marketing that generates viewings!
