I rented from portfolio they also did not give me back some of my £825 security deposit. I wanted to back the claims of the previous post and to warn all who may be considering giving Kevin and his company any money! There a loads of lovely companies out the but portfolio letting of hamilton is NOT. I will be raising a claim through the small claims court and would advise all to follow, Kevin is hoping we all just take it lying down....... Don't let him get away with it!

Hi Scott, I'm thinking of using them, how did the small claim go?? You also said they only kept part of your deposit! is that because you left it really dirty?? or did they really just keep your money with no explanation.

Ps. it sounds like you don't like this guy Kevin

Refund my deposit AND provide a proper WRITTEN account of any deductions please. Also they should be OUTLAWED FROM HOLDING TENANTS' DEPOSITS. Portfolio Lettings should hand ALL tenant deposits to a reputable third party and independant organisation. They cannot be trusted with tenant's money.
