earlier this year our father died & we found ourself in the unfortunate position of having to sell his home, our family home, obviously this has been an extremely distressful time for us. On beginning our relationship with your move we had hoped that we had chosen an estate agent that was going to work for us & sell the property in an easy & as stress free way as possible as well as undoubtedly a professional way. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Communication was poor, all one way, the office staff did not seem to want to listen to our views & constantly seemed to be representing the buyer opposed to ourselves. We had some work completed, although had not been asked to, obtained gas & electric safety certificates, which the buyer then questioned & wanted to send someone else in even though they were done with accredited people! We felt that Your Move knew the buyer, when papers should have been signed & all could move on we were hassled more & more for further requests, the property was sod as seen.... Yet we had all there problems, the property is actually in exceptional repair & al that need doing is cosmetic, the buyer had a bargain!! After being given an ultimatum to decide one way or the other by the close of business last Monday, ignoring this the buyer wrote a pleading letter & turned up on my doorstep, I could not believe she even had my address!! Speaking, extremely crossly, to the office the sale finally fell through. Apparently i should be standing on my head in the back garden if that is what the buyer requests & is what's needed to sell the house, there are plenty of other aspects of their service we are not happy about, needless to say we are now using another estate agent, I would advise no one to use Your Move as you will probably be left feeling highly stressed & have No Move!!! We have complained to their complaints office & the Ombudsman, it will be interesting to see the outcome........

Actually listening & representing us would have helped, however by the end of our experience i would NEVER recommend or use them again!
