I have found this agency to be unhelpful in numerous ways. I have therefore lodged a formal complaint with them, which, when it is "dealt with" by Fineholm under their half-page (I kid you not!) "complaints procedure" (i.e. dismissed without any acceptance of blame), will be passed to: 1. the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) whose logo Fineholm carries; 2. The Property Ombudsman (TPO) (whose logo Fineholm -in breach of TPOs requirements - does not); and 3. Glasgow City Council's Landlord Accreditation Officer. The reasons for my complaint are too numerous to recount here, save to say Fineholm have breached the tenancy agreement on a number of matters, are in breach of numerous ARLA guidelines, the TPO Code of Practice for Letting Agents and (as far as I can see, approximately 19 provisions of) the Scottish Core Standards for Accredited Landlords. I do want to specify one thing however: Fineholm charge

As of today, more than 3 months since the tenancy expired, no complaint has been submitted to ARLA by the reviewer.

Fineholm are pleased you've decided to submit your complaint to ARLA and await their decision in due course. You received your full deposit as well as an additional goodwill gesture, within the time period recommended by ARLA. We consider the matter to be closed until a decision is received from ARLA.
