Having been a homeowner for 20 years and now returning to the renting whilst I sell my property, I was feeling extremely anxious about the whole process. I can honestly say that Bethany Lawton at Helmores has 'held my hand' throughout the process and has made the whole experience seamless. Her professional attitude, flexible 'can do' attitude and level of caring has been, and continues to be incredible. Covid 19 struck the UK in March 2020, the initial damp was reported in January 2019, and it took till October 2019 to carry out any inspection. A report was passed to Helmores shortly after this in early November 2019. Sadly, the landlords wife did pass also in March 2020. So both incidents you mentioned occurred 14 months after the damp was raised & 5 months after the report.
