I used Latitude base on the convenient location to my property. I used them for an Introductory Only service. They failed to complete a number of tasks and took risks with my property. For example, they allowed the tenants to perform the meter readings and change the billing (despite me requesting explicitly that they do this task). They also failed to notify the council that new tenants had moved into the property, which lead me to being charge 2 months of council tax when the new tenant was residing at the property. They were often not available to show prospective tenants, which I did myself.

Overall, a very poor service.

Whilst we appreciate feedback whether positive or negative, we are surprised that you consider Latitude to have taken 'risks' with your property. We found you an excellent tenant with outstanding references and a well above average income. We did take meter readings (I took them myself with the tenant present as the tenant could not access the cupboard). We also undertook to notify the utilities companies at your request using Utilitell, a widely used utilities transfer company. Whilst there may have been a slight delay in the company processing your accounts you have since confirmed with us that you received a refund for your council tax which is also common when utilities are changed. You also appeared very willing to assist with viewings as you were regularly in the property and we got the impression you liked to meet prospective tenants. Had you informed us that you did not wish to carry out unaccompanied viewings we would have been very pleased to comply with this as always.

You mentioned that you used the introduction only service. From my experience that means they introduce you to the tenant and you do the rest. Sounds like you needed a full management service.

Excellent service - having used other bigger name agents with mediocre success, Latitude quickly found a buyer for the property we were selling and achieved a strong price. Would certainly use them again....
