I have been a tenant of 1let for 2.5 years now, and I would never rent anywhere else. Having rented privately in Edinburgh for the majority of the last 12 years, they are by far the best landlords I have ever encountered. Everything about their service screams professionalism. They care bit only about their landlords and properties, but also about their tenants.
When I came to view the property, I loved it straight away, but I also had I arrange another viewing to check that the rest of the family would be satisfied -and Ken showed my 4yr old son around personally showing him his new bedroom.
Whenever I've needed something repaired it has always been attended to quickly and the work has been done to a high standard. Whenever I've wanted to redecorate or modify the property they have been prompt in replying and reasonable regarding what I've wanted to do.
One month there was a problem with my bank sending the standing order payment was several days late due to an IT glitch, and when I called Ken to explain he was really understanding, and made sure to contact the accounts department so that they knew and didn't hassle me.
It's been the most positive experience of renting I've ever had, and I've recommended them to all my friends. As a side note, their email updates are really interesting and informative.
