Worst agents in the World!!
I rented a flat of them for 2 years, they were all nicey nice when showing us around, saying they would get the carpets cleaned and new beds. So I signed the lease.
On getting the keys... no clean carpets and no new beds!
We made a formal complaint, and it came down to my word against theirs, as the man who showed us around claimed he never said that.
Any time we had to contact them, the phone just rang and rang, no voicemail was every answered and they rarely answer emails and when you finally do speak to someone they are very rude and dont seem to care about your problem AND when you do start to deal with someone when you ask to speak to them again, they have left (seems to have a high turn around of staff) Although if you ring a sales number... they answer within 2 rings.
If they ever wanted to contact us, they would leave 'snotty' voicemails asking to call them back.
its taken 4 weeks and we still havent received our deposit back, they took money off to clean their carpets, i just hope they do it this time for the new tenants and not lie like they did to me.
on a positive note, I recently went in to their branch to discuss getting this deposit back (an error on their part) and the lady on the reception was very nice and made a lot of phone calls to sort this out for me (she is the only person who has every been helpful when dealing with their reception staff, more often than not they have been seen to look on their phones, having a gossip with other members of staff, and when you are waiting to speak to them they ignore you for longer than is necessary).
I would never give them any business, and have recently advised a few friends not to use them as they were wanting to let out their homes.
What agent could do to change your mind?
I fully understand that andrew louis is a buisness and their aim is to get as much money as possible, however manners go along way. their staff need to stop being rude, snotty and damn right arrogant. They need to know the basics when working with the general public... smiling, politeness, helping, basically doing their job that they are being paid to do. Maybe even give each member of staff a notebook to make a to do list of tasks when they are given them so they dont forget to reply to emails, calls etc!!
