As a landlord, I have used Morgan Randall over the last three years for two houses. Presently both are let through them. The work they performed to find good tenants at the desired rental values was excellent. And during this period I have had no problems with my tenants. They have been happy.

Whereas until 2009 the property management service and accounts departments were sometimes lacking a professional edge I now find both departments accessible and amenable. I gather that some reorganisation and retraining has improved things. The change is evident and welcome.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Whereas MR have their package of fees and conditions, there is some flexibility and as with everything, it depends upon one's own market position and negotiation skills. This is the society we live in! You don't get without asking.

It is always important to read the contacts and agreements carefully, and demand copies if not offered, before signing. It is not a matter, simply, of trust, but of clarity of understanding. If their are clauses one wishes to change, negotiate.

MR could improve further, but so could the whole industry. So could tenants!
