Now been renting our property for the past 3 months with greentree lettings. The day we moved in we handed over £800+ in cash with no receipt given. After viewing the property we were told all smoke alarms would be replaced, walls (that were filthy) would be repainted and the house would be cleaned for us. - none of which was done. We moved in with no information provided about gas/electric/water or anything else!
We have now been living here for 3 months and currently have no hot water (which we haven't had for the past week) and no washing machine which broke 3 weeks ago. Me and my partner are constantly ringing or emailing and we never seem to get anywhere with them it is ridiculous!! We have had to stay at my parents house to wash our clothes and get a shower this weekend!
Tend to speak to Elaine or Paul who tell you the problem will be sorted but never actually happens. We are still receiving bills from past tenents who owe money to British Gas - which wouldn't allow us to set up a new account for over a month! The bills still haven't been picked up to be paid (promised this over a month ago) and we still have no idea who our water supplier is!!!
The company have no idea what they are doing, has a complete lack of communication amongst tenents and lettings agency and just have a "can't be bothered" attitude towards any problems and difficulties the tenents come across.
One word: useless
What agent could do to change your mind?
Listened more, communicated more with tenants. did their job perhaps?
