We were tenants in a property let and managed by Archer\'s for around 7 months. We were consistently disappointed by the way in which they handled (or failed to handle) the issues we experienced. The first issue was mould on several walls, which was there when we viewed the property, but we were assured by the Archer\'s staff member would be gone by the time we moved in. This was not the case, and we had to complain several times, and finally threaten legal action before anything was done about it. This was about 2 months after we had moved in. The next issue was the boiler, which had several problems, to the point that we could not run hot water for more than a few minutes before it gave out. This obviously impacted our ability to wash clothes, dishes and ourselves! Again, we had to contact them time and time again before anything was done. Typically what would happen is that you would speak to somebody, they would promise to ring you back or email you within a day, and this would not happen. Then a couple days later you would phone again, and the same thing would happen again. Finally, we moved out almost 2 months ago and are still waiting for our deposit to be released, even though we have been told that nothing would be withheld, and the deposit protection company has informed us that the money was released almost 20 working days ago. Fingers crossed that this situation will get resolved soon and we don\'t need to take any legal action. Literally the worst estate agents we have ever come in contact with - DO NOT USE!
