This is the worst agency ive dealt with in London. It took over a month for them to get us an electronic key for the electronic security door when we first moved in, this meant we had to hope someone was in an continually ring the bell. Again over a month to replace the broken washing machine. When we called to complain theyd simply put the phone down. They have been constantly rude to us. Now its proving impossible to get the deposit back even though we left the room looking better than when we found it. The other tenants that lived with us have many similar stories to tell us. Elsewhere online you can find other people saying the same aswell. They are awful people. If you are thinking of renting of them dont. They wont stick to the contract, they wont return your deposit and as soon as you have signed the papers they will openly ignore you no matter what the situation. This company needs to be closed down.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Stop ignoring customers. Stick to the contract they designed. Teach general manners and basic english language skills to their staff. Return deposits in the legally required time.

As the Manager of De Vere Letting Bureua in Barnet, I have just seen this comment however I believe the disgruntled individual has cause for complaint with De Vere Properties who are based in E1, London, we are a sole independent office based in High Barnet, EN5 with not affiliation to any other branch by this name. This seems to be a case of a review against the wrong company and would appreciate if my comments are registered and this review withdrawn immediately.
