I would strongly warn potential customers to use Next Move with caution. Refuse to pay any agency fees as if things go wrong they will keep them. Avoid (unrecorded) phone calls and get email correspondence.
We applied for a property, paid fees, went through credit checks and then was fobbed off and lied to for over a month while we waited for a tenancy agreement. 2 weeks before the move in date we told them we needed a valid tenancy agreement immediately which was when Next Move claimed the landlord wouldn\'t sign. We asked for a refund so we could find somewhere else and they tried to fob us off with an undated (ie. unexecuted) agreement.
After many phone calls and emails they refunded part of our costs but we were left £300 out of pocket and were left with just a week to find somewhere to live.
Who knows what the truth was, they shouldn\'t have lied to us, should have told us sooner, and given us a full refund.
Next Move Director Abdul Azad was verbally abusive, unhelpful, arrogant, and used the "you like the sound of your own voice" line which is rapidly becoming famous in the reviews here.
If you are a homeowner looking for an unscrupulous letting agency to rent your property though i would highly recommend them as he stated "we don\'t give a sh*t about tenants, the landlord is our client"
