When it comes to you paying "the monies" as they say, which are the outrageous fees and the deposit, they are very nice, friendly, but once you have paid they suddenly become unavailable, bounce you off, hang up while you are waiting on the phone .... they do reply to emails but in such a rude way that you do feel you are wasting their time.
Enza Miracco who I was dealing with was particularly rude and inefficient.
The agents they work with to carry out the inventory are pure amateurs (I spent more than 2 hours with them going through plethora of issues they had not written down) and yet they make you pay for it !
They ask ridiculous amount of private information about you, make you sign dodgy papers about the use of your personal information, and once again if you don\'t like it you lose both the apartment and your deposit ... no going back !
The contract they write is obviously a one-way thing, protecting the owner only. Let alone the 25 pages long list of legal language that, as a foreigner puts you off and make you realise you have made a mistake.
Once moved in, if anything goes wrong with your apartment you will have to chase them down really hard to get something done
All of this you do realise once you either have paid a great lump of money or have already moved in.
They make money on abusing foreigners, and other people who do not know London and how things work. Obviously I will never use them again (or any other agency) and I strongly advise anyone to use them either.
I wish I had never crossed their path and can\'t WAIT to end my tenancy with them !
