This letting agency in pudsey is a joke. They are all nice when the want you to rent and are taking your money but once you need repairs doing they don't want to know. I have a small child and the house I rented from Flemings had a leak and was poorly insulated which lead to damp and mould within the property I reported the situation straight away and all Flemings did was say it was because I wasn't having the windows open 24/7 and the heating on 24/7 which is a joke. In the end I got environmental health involved as the mould spores was causing health issues and I had to move out of the bedroom it was in and sleep on the sofa. Even with the environmental health invoked the letting agents did nothing. The environmental health had to give them a hazard notice after them failing to rectify the problem and clean the mould after several notices given to them to do so! The property was not even up to legal standards. My advice don't let from this agency not if you value your life and anyone else who lives with you. The property I was in didn't have smoke detectors or adequate fire precautions such as fire doors and an escape window. Even after leaving the property and all the evidence I have they are trying to take my deposit for their disrepair. Let with them at own risk!!
