We were initially very pleased with the no. of viewings organised and really felt the agent was working hard to find a property for us. No other agent put this much time and effort into us and we registered with 7 different agents. However, after having our offer accepted by the landlord, things appeared to get more complicated. Perhaps not all due to the agent, but there were items included in the contract we weren\'t happy with (especially he clause which stated that the agent would retain our personal details and was permitted to use it for "marketing purposes"). Our comments were basically met with the response; you want it changed, pay for it. When we finally agreed on the final contract, somehow errors had creeped in with addresses; we were asked to sign an addendum to he contract after we had already signed the contract; we were given a photocopy of our contract without it having been witnessed (all these items are the responsibility of the agent). Overall good performance on viewings and early stages, but we weren\'t at all impressed with the admin process. The feeling we got: the money is in the bag, move on to the next. I hope Northfields take this review as constructive feedback...
