The worst agency we have ever dealt with:
1) what we tought was a holding deposit, turned out to be credit check fee - which had never been mentioned until the day we went to sign the contract.
2) when we had viewd the house we had asked for some old and rusty items to be removed from the garden and the house, on the day Nikki had assured us that everything would have been cleared. We move in and this hadn\'t been done, and when we enquired about it she said that there was no written proof that we had ever asked that.
3) the day we move in the house there is no elecritcity - albeit the agency had known about the problem for more than 2 weeks and there is a gas leak. Electricity is restored after 3 days of tennnancy, agency refused any responsibility said it was "bad luck" and that we were not entitled of any compensation what so ever.
4) after days we had asked for a plumber to come and check the sinks as both bathroom\'s and kicthen\'s were blocked, and have always been dismissed as difficult tennants, we turn on the washing machine and surprise surprise all the ground floor gets flooded with malodorant and dirty water. Before they had sent someone to clean the carpet: 10 days. Paradoxically when the tennancy ended we were asked to pay for the stain they had caused with their carelessness.
The staff has never apologised for the above, either, which we felt extremely disrespectful.
Considering all the above happened in the first week of our tennancy, and no one ever apologised for the above, and never wanted to admit responsibility for, we are writing here to let you know that Pedder have been the worst agency we have ever dealt with. They have only caused us discomfort, stress, wasted our money and time.
What agent could do to change your mind?
There is nothing you could do to change our minds as our experience have been the worst experience of all times. Your staff is rude and doesn\'t take responsibility for short comings. Even Black Katz seem professionals compared to you.
