Having met three local agents, we decided to go with a different agent than Thomas Morris. Jordan was very charming, but we were also worried that he said he would not include photos of the upstairs of our house on Rightmove (because he said people would not view if they had already seen everything on the internet. This is not our experience at all and didn\'t make much sense to us), and we were also a little sceptical about what seemed an over-valuation of the property and some of the tips and tricks Jordan said Thomas Morris were offering, all of which felt a little transparent. However, he also offered us an excellent rate. We called our first choice agent (from another local company), who was absent from his desk, and were told we would receive a call back within an hour. Six hours later we had heard nothing back from the other agent, but called Thomas Morris to let them know we were going with somebody else. In that six hours, Jordan had already arranged two viewings on our property, so we changed our minds and went with him. This was on Friday. By Monday morning, the property had sold for a price we were very happy with. We hadn\'t even got the paperwork together to put it on the market. Throughout the rest of the process, everybody in the agency was friendly, professional and hard working, and helped us chase the solicitor and get the sale through. The other agent still hasn\'t called back, and has not responded to our email explaining our reasons for going with Thomas Morris. In the end, despite a slightly gimmicky feel to their sales pitch, Thomas Morris blew the other local agents out of the water.
