Foxtons, where to start.
Well they (eventually) sold my flat and for the asking price so big a big plus there. It did take a while and we had an awful lot of people through the door before we got anywhere though. But then as a large lower ground floor flat it was bound to be a more difficult sell than some.
Their marketing is very good, brochures are very professional and the website is one of the best around.
The downside I would say is that the communication could have been better, particularly at the start. I had to chase to get feedback, but that was resolved later on. The other negative was that the fees were definitely on the steep side at 2.5% +VAT (so actually 3%).
