It is more than 6 months since I moved out of a David Phillips managed property and I still do not have my deposit back. I have contacted them many times, now they simply do not return my calls. I have checked and my deposit was not placed in a tenancy deposit protection scheme. This is against the law. I have sent a formal notice of court action, and still have had no response. I will now have to take them to court.
It is interesing to note that another review from a tenant reports a very similar experience.... Avoid using this comapny at all costs, they will ask for 6 weeks deposit and it is very likely you will never see that money again.
