The agent offered the worst possible property selling service. From our offer being accepted in January ( we are first time buyers, buying an empty property) we still have not completed the sale. Becky is always " unavailable" when we call and never returns calls even when other staff members promise this. Nothing we have requested has been chased up as they promised. After nearly giving up on the purchase owing to the fact that they did not respond to us giving them a deadline until 3 weeks after the deadline had passed wegave them a second chance. The service has not improved. Our mortgage offer has now expired and we are facing the financial consequences of this. They have put no effort into helping us or communicating with us and as a result I will be spreading the word about the terrible service we have received and advising my friends and colleagues not to buy or sell through them. Neil Bartrop himself seems cluelessas to what his staff are doing and on the whole the establishment seems a complete shambles that is in the buisness of wasting innocent property buyers money.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have contacted me, kept me up dated with progress of the sale, called us back when promising to do so. The constant and consistent lack of communication and general unhelpful and lazy nature of staff has led to this negative review. Also the people showing you round properties have no information about the properties and are equally unhelpful. I can\'t think of one positive thing about them!
