We had decided to use Baker Pearce to sell our flat and their senior partner (can't mention his name!) came round to view the property.

The brochure was produced and the weeks went by as no one seemed interested in our flat and then we had a phone call on the Tuesday saying that they had a viewing booked for Friday morning - superb!

Baker Pearce call me on Thursday and asked if WE could show the customer the property as they were too busy - we said this was not very impressive as they are supposed to do the viewings!

On Friday morning my girlfriend hoovered the flat and i came home from work at 9am for the 9:15 viewing and at ten past nine the it was Baker Pearce saying the customer was not coming.

We told them that they should have called the customer the day before to confirm weather he or she was still coming - the senior partner told me they dont have time to make phone calls all day long... I told him i was not interested in his excuses and they had totally wasted our time due to the effort we both did for them considering they were "trying" to sell our flat.

The senior partner was told at that point to call any other interested customers the day before to confirm and not waste other peoples time.

One week later Baker Pearce did exactly the same thing again - asked us to do the viewing - to which we said a firm NO and ten minutes before they were due to turn up they called to cancel again.

I drove straight to the office, stormed up to the senior partner and screamed and shouted at him in front of his customers and all he could do was sit behind his desk with his head bowed mumbling.

I told him i wanted their sign collected within a week and i stormed off - i was so angry i forgot to ask for my key back!

I emailed the Eastcote office and asked them to post the key back to our home address and they could not even do that - let alone answer the email back.

I called them twice more and each time the senior partner would not speak to me and the sign was still on our property.

Three weeks went by and i went back to the shop stood there and the manager apoligised (head bowed again) and handed me the key - i reminded him about the sign - again.... he said that it would be moved in a couple of days.

Another week went by and still the sign had not been collected so i called Baker Pearces Pinner office instead, explained what had happened and that if the sign was not gone in two days from our property i was going to tear it down, put it in my car, drive to the Eastcote office, walk through their front door and put it through the senior partners chest!

I came home from work the next day and the sign had gone - well done the Pinner branch

We made sure that the flat was immaculate
