Absolutely disgraced at the lack of integrity and service from KFH.

We had an offer agreed on a property, and explicitly stated that the offer was being made subject to the property being taken off the market with immediate effect.
This was accepted, so we finalised our mortgage application, appointed our solicitors & surveyors to proceed, only to get a phone call to say the property was now being sold to another buyer. This should never have even come about - KFH were not supposed to be advertising the property as for sale, nor showing people round under the terms of our offer which the agent assured us were all accepted.

Two weeks later, we were offered the property back as that sale had fallen through. We seriously considered declining just to avoid dealing with KFH, but due to the lack of anything else on the market we accepted and were promised that we would only deal with the sales manager.

This was the case, but quite frankly the service didnt improve.

We were not kept updated and the communication was so bad that the estate agent further up the chain called us using details they had on file on us from our previous searches with them, to talk to us directly. The fact another estate agent felt the need to do their job for them says it all!

We didnt even get confirmation of the completion date, or when we could pick up the keys from the estate agent. We never got any correspondence back from the email we sent confirming the different dates we would be able to complete.
It is only because we had exchanged contact details with the seller on our second viewing that we even knew what was going on.

The total lack of honesty and communication from these agents almost made the whole chain fall through, and gave me no faith in the service they were supposed to be providing.

I accept that the agents act for the seller, but they didnt even do this! The seller was so disgusted with the service she apologised repeatedly when we viewed the property before completion.

I would never deal with these estate agents again, let alone pay to use them
