Landlord's should choose a better lettings agency!! Shola is just the most incompetent person to deal with. We had floors removed from our flat due to a leak (that was never ending) and were put into a hotel for 7 days or so she claimed, however the hotel had rang us 5 days in to tell us we had to check out, with no word from city residential, I rang up both the office and her personal number with no luck, me and my partner had to leave our jobs just to get our things from the hotel only to find out they had still not solved the problem in our flat and again move our things back into the hotel. We literally lived without a floor for 2 months. The damp is horrendous in the flat, black mould at every corner. The fire alarm in the flats goes off at random a million times a month, sometimes 3am, you can't get any sleep, you can't work from home, it's just the most inconvenient place to live in. Some residents even posted notes around the building complaining that the fire alarm doesn't stop in the building. Theres a gas leak that you can smell every couple of days, the whole place is a joke. Not to mention the lift is broken most days out of the month, image you own a bike, or trying to move in/out, carrying your stuff 10 flights of stairs. Honestly I've lost count of how many things are broken, from the intercom to shower, lift and doors the list goes on and on. In the end we ended up withholding our rent and it was the landlord we felt sorry for as he didn't seem to have a clue at how bad they actually are as a lettings agency, the will literally do anything other than repair.
