Genuinely appalling experience. Had to threaten them with legal action to get deposit protected after they missed legal deadline. The staff member you needed to talk to was always mysteriously "out of the office" when you call and never returned the call. Repeatedly told direct lies about calling us, talking to the other tenant, times of appointments, documents being sent to us etc. We never got a Gas Safety certificate

Generally incompetent too - they asked us to pay rent by Direct Debit despite (as we discovered several weeks and MANY phone calls later) not even being registered with their bank to receive Direct Debits.

When we were leaving the flat at the end of tenancy, they told us they didn\'t have a set of spare keys, then miraculously found them and just walked into our flat without even ringing the bell! Simple things such as getting a plumber to look at a broken toilet took tens of phone calls and three separate appointments before someone turned up. The tenancy agreement was a template job where they hadn\'t even bothered to complete the bits in square brackets.

All in all, a stressful, draining and time consuming experience, Avoid like the plague. As a side note, last time I looked at the Property Ombudsman website (and took a screenshot), there was a note saying they\'d been refused full membership after being referred to the Disciplinary and Standards Committee - this now seems to have disappeared, but wasn\'t a good sign...
