Gary Atkins is a property manager at Franklyn James and we pay Franklyn James management fee to manage our property for us, and have given Franklyn James £500 float for any emergency items. Stupidly we trusted him and he authorized repair for washing machine repair which was clearly caused by the tenant.
Luckily the tenancy agreement was coming to an end, so we were relieved.
Later, we found that the tenant had paid monies to the estate agent for services which were in direct conflict with the management fee that was paid to them for managing the property.
Please do not use this estate agent .
We have taken this as a lesson learnt.
