The agents were asked to co-ordiante with the landlords\' and have the house painted, the letrical appliances replaced and new curtains in all the rooms. They didn\'t bother to pass our request to the owner and instead lied that the landlord didn\'t want to do that.

The landlord and we are now talking directly and find them extremely considerate to the extent that they\'ve now gone beyond our original requests to do a lot more at the house.

It is a shame that our initial requests were not passed over the landlord as it would\'ve saved us a lot of inconvenience and also the money we spent for short lets while they waited on handing over the house to us.
What agent could do to change your mind?
There is no sense of responsiveness to the client. Our calls were not answered till much later and when done they were no solutions to our requests

Costa Leventis (branch manager) made the landlord aware on 4th April 2013 of the conditions relating to the offer. These were the furniture, electrical appliances, curtains and painting of the property. The following working day (offer fell evening before the bank holiday weekend) Saturday 6th April 2013 Louise Brown the lettings progressor produced the tenancy agreement which contained all 4 additional clauses agreed by all parties and issued this via docusign. The tenancy agreement is another example to show that all parties had agreed on all conditions of offer.

On 9th April there were a number of emails exchanged between Louise and the landlords representative which detailed further evidence of any questions relating to the tenancy agreement. None were disagreeing with the clauses agreed that you have rightly mentioned and the tenancy agreement was signed by the landlord.

On the day of the move in - 10th April - you moved into the property to find that a number of matters were not dealt with and spoke to Louise directly. Louise addressed these with the landlord immediately and came back to you to inform you that she had decided not to paint the property as she felt it was in good decorative order. Louise also went on to explain that the appliances had been replaced and the curtains would be decided between both yourself and the landlord directly.

During the 2 working days that Lauristons had to prepare the tenancy, we agreed the the terms and issued a tenancy agreement to all parties to sign and agree. This took place. I understand that agreements that were made were not followed through by the time you moved into the property which is of course unfortunate and not what you had agreed to in the tenancy agreement; however we were not in any position to action these agreements ourselves.

I would however like to discuss this matter with you further and will attempt to contact you tomorrow (Thursday 25th April) to provide any further feedback i am able and provide the correspondence discussed above.
