Have viewed several properties with Tuckers. They all had the same common features: poor EPC rating, knackered 20-year old boilers, cheap nasty laminate flooring so they don\'t have to replace carpets, and an apparently universal policy of making you liable to maintain the garden (fine) without providing any tools or lawnmower (stingy) and best of all no shed or garage. Anyone else like sharing their living room with a lawnmower? Overall they are one of a group of Cambridge agents who are established, specialise in giving landlords low risk, low cost solutions, can\'t quite grasp that tenants are not scum, slightly overprice but not much, and spend an overly large amount of employee time playing \'my sign\'s taller than yours\' games on properties with more than one agent. Net result, their properties do not go quickly and you really wonder who benefits and why they bother.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Change the business model, stop being one of the group of agents responsible for the disgraceful state of property in Cambridge (which now looks like mid-1970s Soviet Poland), stop dealing in lazy absent landlords who don\'t care and remember that come the glorious day when one of us scum reach the dizzy heights of buying a property, guess where we\'re not going to come.
