Sam was on the first day of a secondment to the Shirley office when we had our initial viewing. Despite some other potential tenants viewing at the same time (we were early, the others were late!), Sam was great at dealing with both groups, and despite being new to the area was well equiped with local info. When he didn't know an answer to a detailed question (which would be from my wife), he didn't offer the usual spiel or BS, but said he didn't know, and tried to find out, and did, very quickly.
Sam was very transparent with regards to the offer process, and was great at keeping in constant contact with us via email. When we then requested to change our move-in date, he was able to do this very quickly and diplomatically, and has been fantastic with our constant questions and requests for moving in. Sam also organised for us to have an opportunity to measure up at the propoerty before moving in (to check whether our furniture would fit etc) and was again a pleasure to deal with.
For a profession that often gets a bad reputation, Sam has been an absolute credit to it. Friendly, happy to solve problems on our behalf, and happy to chase up any questions/queries. He's been knowledgeable on the contractual aspects of tenancy and has come across as trustworthy, and a great guy.
