Used Moving On in 2012. About four months into the tenancy we had a surprise visit from a debt collection agent. It turned out the landlady was seriously in arrears with her mortgage payments on the property and she didn\'t even have permission to let. A few weeks later we found out the property was going to be repossessed!

Moving On basically pretended none of this was happening but when pushed told us they were trying to find a buyer for the property. This was not particularly reassuring and we moved out soon after.

Judging by our own experience and by the comments above it\'s clear that Moving On simply make no effort to screen out dodgy landlords. As far as tenants are concerned, this makes them next to useless.

As a representative from Moving On it's dissapointing to read negative anoynomous reviews where accusers can leave unverifiable comments with no potential for us to take legal action if false or misleading in nature, has this website been provided with any legal evidence that these events occurred??? For all we know these comments could be left by rival agencies or tenants who have been penalised deposit for causing damage etc and who would like to seek some form of revenge by smearing our good name. As an agency who have operated since 2002 and who have dealt with thousands of tenants we seem to have 3 negative reviews in 14 years of operating our business. The reviews are full of holes in terms of facts e.g. we tried to sell the property when it was in the process of repossession!! The person posting this particular review should know that if a property is being repossesed than fixed charged receivers authorised by the bank would be instructed by the bank to handle the sale and so we would not be legally entitled to sell the property. Also if a tenant has a legally binding contract with the landlord they would be entitled to legal remedy by taking the owner/landlord to small claims court over an unfulfilled contract which would be an open and shut definite win for the tenant in a court enviroment as it is obvious that the owner has breached terms. My only conclusion is that this review is misleading and malicious and I think that allagents.co.uk should not allow negative posts without prior verification as they are libelous in nature and obviously damaging to the reputation of a company.
